Chocolate Heavenly Hash Cake

  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lb. can chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Combine all ingredients and beat well. Pour in greased 9 1/2 x 13-inch pan. Bake about 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Topping

  • 1 10-1/2-oz. pkg. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2/3 stick margarine
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Place marshmallows and nuts on top of hot cake. Melt margarine and chocolate. Cool slightly and add egg and powdered sugar. Beat well and heat until runny. Pour and spread on top of warm cake.
